nidefatt You can feel the Behemoth influence but "she" is quite a different manner of beast compared to Nergal. It has a menacing feeling and is in no way triumphant. Very good stuff.

bcb723 Oh my God those vocals... "She" is completely badass. This album is fucking ridiculous in all the right ways. The songs, music, concept - it sounds like "He" is getting some serious demons out of his system. Regardless, this album is undeniably catchy and memorable. A great, under the radar release from this amazing force of nature. Favorite track: Beyond the Transcendental Luminescence.

David Fischer Whether this is industrial black metal or not, the influences combined here make for a splendid, dark journey with impressively hateful vocal delivery. Albeit there are skilled vocalists galore in the black metal swamp, She stands out with an extraordinary performance. The instrumental section feels very vibrant, He is clearly a master of his craft. Graced by a juicy production, this record sounds really good throughout. Seemingly contradictory, Proclamation... is bleak and still colourful. Favorite track: Chthonic Rites ov Fertility.
YomaBarr

YomaBarr Harrowing, atonal, yet flowing perfectly. I'm full of admiration for sonic imagination of He, and She's are hands down best female harsh vocals I've heard in a long, long while: nothing forced here, 100% control, as if her first scream of a newborn was already black metal.

Belarus seems to be a boiling cauldron of exquisite extreme metal to the extent that a "Belarus" tag means practically an instabuy. This album trust me is a no-brainer. Favorite track: Ascension.
Ippocalyptica

Ippocalyptica Witness the outstanding debut album from Belarus’ most promising extreme metal ambassadors! Though some classify this as industrial black metal, it is nothing ov the sort. Instead, it strikes me as robustly-produced, meaty-sounding, avant-garde black metal full ov unsettling and hypnotic melodies and riffs. Most impressive to me is that this debut is very dynamic, with the slower parts being at least as compelling as the more chaotic and stunning high-tempo sections. Get a piece ov this! Favorite track: Ascension.
PlagueSpreader

PlagueSpreader There is a really terrifying atmosphere that reminds me of Nightbringer and Akhlys a bit. But from the perspective of music, it sounds absolutely different. It's very catching and memorable, mostly mid-tempo black death metal with well-produced sound. Really enjoyable stuff. Favorite track: Thy Way with the Serpent Entwined.

about

Dkharmakhaoz is a mysterious, two-person entity hailing from Belarus. Despite their otherwise-new standing, the black metal these Belarusians create is firmly rooted in classic second-wave black metal from the ’90s but just as equally working with palatable modern iterations of obsidian. The sound field across Proclamation ov the Black Suns, the band’s first public recording, is robust and muscular yet subtly strange; although by no means aiming for anything qualitatively “industrial,” there’s nevertheless a certain post-apocalyptic vibe to its clanging ‘n’ crunchy surge. Riffs are gutted above and below, guitar and bass both working together to weave dense expressions of dread and darkness, but there’s simultaneously a levitational aspect which makes Dkharmakhaoz astute practitioners of the atmosphere as they are of black METAL. No doubt, that metal element is surely emphasized across the album’s seven-song/36-minute runtime, as well as a night sky melodicism that favorably puts the record in paradigmatic No Fashion territory.

A timeless creation paradoxically breathing modernism, Dkharmakhaoz‘s Proclamation ov the Black Suns is an eclipse worth witnessing. Refresh, regenerate, reignite!
